Went to the local spot that supports a good southerly blow and had a couple of hours out on a 5.3 warming up for the big blow.

Crossapol Beach, Tiree

Started off cross shore, port tack, with tiny waves and barely planing on 4.7 Combat and my 69l JP with Bill G on 4.1 and his 66 Moo. However after about half an hour it swung cross onshore and the wind got up. Sailed for about 5 hours on the verge of overpowered, had some lovely waves as they’d gotten a bit bigger and smashed myself all afternoon trying to get the backloop landing right, but I still rotate to early :(... think I should try the pushloop instead.

The wind dropped in the last hour and I changed up to my 83 but it had gotten a bit too light and we all packed up and went home.
