Tuesday 6th of August

Post by ross24 » Tue Aug 06, 2019 7:14 pm

It all came together for me today.
Got the week off and was able to get down to Avon after a nice family day out.

5.4 and 104 freewave. Overpowered at times, but it dropped as the day went on. A few nice ramps to jump off. I probably did some of my best jumps today. Got round some tacks too. The wind swung more offshore, as the day went on so I packed up at 7.

Plenty out. More later this week possibly.

Sounds like Avon was fun. Newton in Porthcawl for me.
Lunchtime foiling followed by afternoon looping on my super mini (regular windsurfing) on the waist high waves on the reef. Blown off the water at 6pm.

Must have clocked about 4.5 hrs today and don’t even feel tired, which I put down to my ruthless Pilates teacher and endless foiling which is so much more of a workout than normal windsurfing.

More tomorrow
