12 July

And again. This time at Llandegfedd reservoir in a gusty NW. 5.8 and Naish board / foil with some fantastic runs down the reservoir in the blazing sun.

Really getting more comfortable now, in the harness (and straps) all the time and getting the hang of canting the board over in gusts going upwind.

Despite the perfect (for foiling) conditions I was the only sailing craft on the water for most of the time.

Harrington. 116l 7.8m.
My favourite summer activity yesterday, parallel shore blasting in an on-shore wind.
Strange wind. Fully powered for 5 mins then near zero for 5 mins, not even enough to waterstart. Wobbling / waiting to WS in on-shore conditions not comfortable … but great stuff when blasting in the straps.

Put my wetsuit on inside out and didn't realise until I couldn't fully pull up the (back) zip. First time I've made that particular cock-up.
