5 July A windsurf revolution

Post by rod » Fri Jul 05, 2019 10:17 pm

In some ways my most extraordinary windsurf today. F2-3 and I was absolutely flying on a 5.8 and my new board that is 202cm long (plus foil). It was certainly short board windsurfing, and on a day when no other windsurfing would be possible (apart from long board sailing).

It really is a windsurfing revolution.

Thanks to Steve for the pic

First session on a new board. A new Naish Hover 2020. 202cm long 131L. It's almost more like a kite foil board than a windsurf board. Easy to use (and uphaul).

Alex way out racing yachts on his foil (and 6.9). With complete lack of whitecaps.
