Thursday 16th May

Post by MartinJ » Fri May 17, 2019 9:58 am

A good day yesterday at Minster. 20+ out in the onshore wind. I got there at 2pm just as the wind was picking up and 5.7 was just right.

The ENE wind and the bright afternoon sun produced some interesting sail shadow pics on the GoPro.

I tried to attach a pic but got the error message 'Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached'. Can you increase the quota size Arf?

Arf

I don’t know if it’s me, but I'm not having any luck trying to post a photo. Still the same error: ‘Sorry, the board attachment quota has been reached.’

1. Upload to Facebook (or maybe other social medya)
2. Save/Download from there
3. Use that file to upload on here

Works for me. ;)

Oh you can do it by reducing size to 3 kb having downloaded fom FB at 128 pixels. But no limit before :?

Went 5.3 mostly then 6.5 for bit at end which was rubbish (wind dropped too). Planed twice, couple of turns on a thigh high wave plus some rare successful up-hauling. Whoop.

2hrs out & first time barefoot for ages. It was SE'ly x-shore port tack but, alas, not enough ground/windswell. Maybe KBay was ok with ~2-3ft @12s.

Ah - the full attachment quota was used up. I've added more space, and from now on, the maximum attachment size is 2 MB.

Great pic - who'd have thought a picture of Minster would make me want to go windsurfing, but it did!!
