Saturday 10th April

Post by Duncan Adam »

A foil session at Portland Harbour.

7.2m V-max did the job, could have been on the 7.9m, as the wind had a few holes in it.

Nothing exciting but good to get a bit more foil practice.

Got out in the harbour. 12kts of wind, so nicely powered on a 5.3 and i76.

Gybes, Duck Gybes, 360's and getting toward turning them into Konos. Great fun on butter-flat water.

mmm... Maybe a good option for thursday/friday given mid-day high tides (and time off work!)...

Ordinarily yes, however it looks quite marginal there on Thurs/Fri but windier toward Pevensey, so I might decide to brave the A27 and drive East.
