The revolutionary aspect might be that the luff sleeve is integral with the rest of the sail?

Nils Bach. Fanatic sponsored sailor rocking a starboard as he cant get hold of his new boards. You would think someone would have a word with him and at a minimum sail his old gear until he gets new stuff. Or just take a rattle can to it and call it a proto type.

Robby's got his new foil sail out (we had a sneak at this before on another video). This is not to my liking. Looks far to high aspect. I have bad memories of 80's era short boom wave saiIs (awful). Aside from that, I like to get the maximum range out of the minimum gear and having a massively low profile sail that takes a very long mast per sqm2 of sail will never work if you run that mindset. As an example - I have a 430 as the biggest of the 3 masts I use. I dont want a 4th mast. I can get most brand freeride 6.2 or 6.5 sails on that mast, a 7m in some brands. The details are not out yet for these sails but I bet I cant get more than a 6m on a 430 and is a 5.8 going to better than a standard shape 6.2 - I doubt it.

I had a NP Raf speed 7.0 some time in the late eighties. Rather high aspect and the same typ of low leech. A very nice sail, actually.

The sail i'm referencing is one of these, original Ezzy Wave. I had one in 3.5m. I can feel myself falling in just looking at it.
