The new Naish S25 wing has a new video out. They seem to have found that folding the wing can damage the windows, so are now recommending rolling the wing and will be supplying a longer bag to all purchasers.

A voiceover video from BluePlanet explaining wingfoiling.

They are allowed on the water in Hawaii, but only if they go straight to the water and straight home after the water - no hanging around at the beach and social distancing must be maintained - as per the sign shown in this Blog. He's not sure they can maintain this as people may start hanging around at the beach.

The Bouyer brothers SUP foiling their windfoil RRD Pocket Rockets.

Generally they avoid showing the paddle out in videos. That might be why wing foiling is gaining in popularity? - if there is enough wind.

Balz Muller winging on a 58 litre board.

Tony Logosz has windfoiled on a 127cm board that I think was about 45 litres?

It's starting to look like SUP is going to be dropped from most crossover foil boards, as it is too incompatible with the sizes and shapes that work best for foiling. Having used a SUP which was modified to take a foil, I think that there will still be SUP boards that have a foil option (and maybe windfoil), but they will not be a major part of the foil market.

Apart from racing, boards seem to be getting shorter for foiling.

There are now 180x76cm 122L boards like the RRD Pocket Rocket which work as beginner boards for windfoiling, wingfoiling and SUPfoiling.
The shortest windfoil board so far is 127cm long and anything from 45 litres to 101 litres (Slingshot prototypes) (eg. 159x72cm 100L Horue Femto)
Wingfoil boards are maybe lower in volume down to about 30 litres, but can also have enough volume to float the rider (eg. 163x66cm 95L Sky Wing).

MikesLab foils are fast, but the video is speeded up. Some wingfoiling (probably from California).

SUPfoil boards tend to need to be a bit longer and and have enough volume to float the rider. (eg. 203x66cm 96L JP SUP Foil)
Based on that and adding more guesswork, we may see crossover wind/wing/SUPfoil boards for advanced riders in the 165 cm by 70cm and 100 litres range

It's got a bit of SUP and a bit of foiling in it. :D He can wingfoil well - but I haven't seen him windsurfing.
OK - its got kitesurfing in it - but it's a great film.

That looks almost impossible without some kind of motor! I wonder how small waves you can ride before you hit the bottom :?:

You can pump the foil, so it depends more on how deep you are pumping it.
