Thanks all.

Will order a pair each of Ion and Ripcurl and see what’s best. Probably the one with the lowest price tag! ;)

Will let you know how I get on. Roll on July 10th! ;D

Thanks Arf and David. Think I’m going to have to order a few different types and try them! Cheers

got to put in my 2 pence
just got back from 7 days pozo trip . 7 out of 7 windy days (Average sail size 4m) but only two those days at pozo (the rest foiling down the road). definitely have booties in your bag, we have gul 3mm summer booties which worked well .the pebbles are large and very slippery . not such a problem at low tide but as the tide comes in the bank gets steeper so now your lifting your kit up as well as trying to stand on large pebbles . Have a great time and take small kit :D

Sounds like fun! Have ordered some boots so I’m going to try them on before I order anything else. Think I actually have a pair of Guls that were too big a few years ago, will have to try and dig them out...

Have heard some horror stories of ankle snapping at high tide... should be fun! 😂

I’m taking 3.0 and 3.3, plus 4.0 if I can in case it’s freakishly light, plus 69l JP quad. Should be alright!

Yes, had something similar when I lived in the tropics for urchin or stonefish prone locations. I liked sailing in them.

I eventually had to take off that elastic & toggle stuff dangling off the back; I kept standing on it and catching it during gybes... maybe that just means I'm gybing wrong.

I’m 62kg... so not very heavy! 3.3 is the smallest production sail Pryde make, so Robby Swift kindly gave me his 3.0 custom from the Red Bull Storm Chase. I spoke to Baptiste Cloarec, one of the under 20s rippers who was 58kg last year. He said 3.3 and his 60l custom was fine, so hopefully I’ll be okay...
