Re: Blanker Plate stuck in box... Please Help!!

I think Bouke's suggestion is spot on. I wouldn't bother filling the hole though. It's small and you can use it again next time you want to do a fin swap. Anyone using blankers has run into this problem at one point with salt water kind of cementing it in a bit. They are usually not stuck that bad b...

Re: How and why do the MB boards carve?

Thanks Bouke and Ola for sharing your wisdom. Always interesting to read. I'm also curious about the concrete mold process Bouke mentioned and poster socialsailor asked about as quoted below I thought molded boards went away with polyethylene but it would help explain how to build all those compound...

Re: Simmer non standard valve screw

@Ola - in 2014 - the Gen 2 boards had screw type valves. At least the Quantum 85 I had did and apparently this Freewave did too. Gen 1 boards had Gore-tex plugs and Gen 3 went back to Gore-tex plugs, thankfully. @Screamer - I have a spare screw type valve harvested from a 2014 Quantum. Pic below. Th...

Re: Board design by Ola H.

@ola - Great thread. As always, thanks for sharing your wisdom. You are a guru. Sorry to hear about your busted rib. Wishing you a speedy recovery. PS - Just found this new forum. So glad. Felt like an orphaned child after the Boards Forum went silent. I see all the same suspects are posting away. L...
