Re: Off topic. WiFi calling

Jeez I never knew about that.
Just been into my phone and switched it on (Galaxy S9. EE)
My office has weak/no signal so hopefully this is now fixed.
If only there were also a simple fix for my overpowered gybing problems.

Re: Saturday 2 March 2019

Bootle Beach, Cumbria. First time sailing at this wavey beach despite it only being 24miles from my house! Wind & waves built throughout the day. When I couldn’t hold down my 5.2m any longer I came in and took some pictures of the Walney guys. Good day. 2 March 2019 (16a).jpg 2 March 2019 (13a).JPG ...

Tacks

Although I’ve been at it for donkeys years I’m not a good windsurfer and a slow leaner. But for most things I’ve made steady progress over the years and am as good as I need to be to have fun and be safe even in wild small kit open sea conditions. I can even get a high percentage of successful if so...

no need to answer that (in case anyone was)
Found all the info I needed on-line + some batten tubes from an old wrecked sail and I'm back in business :)

Is that 3rd batten down bust?
Crikey yes! I just checked it now. How did I miss that?
And the one below it.

You've got a good eye.

Started off crap with the wind really gusty. Can someone dust Ken Black down and get him to design a 4.5 – 7.5m auto variable area sail. But then became less gusty so was good :) , helped a lot by the sunshine & mild temperature. Allride 116 + 6.2m sail. Parton slip, Whitehaven, Cumbria. I needed th...

Re: Angry from Hertfordshire.

Ba$tards. Can’t advise more than has been said already. Good to hear you’re fighting it. That helps all of us. I’d keep on at Tesco’s at a higher level. It was their premises which you were attending at their invitation so they can’t simple wash their hands of any bad practice of a subcontractor act...
