Thursday 29th August

Brilliant session at Crossapol today. Timed my arrival perfectly, just as the rain stopped, the wind dropped a bit and swung more SW. Ruaraidh and Magnus (12 yrs old!) had been out for an hour on 3.3 & 3.1. Ru switched to 4.7 & I rigged 4.1 & Moo 66.

I sailed for two hours without falling in, getting great jumps (including 2 tabletops, well they felt like it anyway) and managed to be on a good wave every time I came in. It felt like I could do no wrong! Stopped for lunch and when I went back out I fluffed the first jump and spent ages wrestling with the shorebreak! Despite this I had a brilliant afternoon until I dropped several outside gybes in a row (my signal that I'm getting tired). Ru still sailing when I left.

Lots out and a good time had by all. The sun even came out!

Live foil repeat. Again

Another nice reservoir session on my Naish foil + 5.8. Made lots of gybes flying all the way round. Other regular windsurfers going only intermittently on 7.5/8.5.

Every day is a windsurfing day.

Foiling off shore road, poole. 5.7, fully powered. Only others out were kids on techno gear (6.8 and 7.8s probably). Great fun, getting back into it after long break.
