First Slalom event of 2019 starts at Marignane near Marseilles.

The Bret's AFF Funboard Tour has just finished an event there, so the French sailors have had a good chance to prepare.

The Bret's Tour races have just finished at Marignane so the French riders have had good preparation.
Podiums were:
1. Pierre Mortefon
2. Julien Quentel
3. Alexandre Cousin

1. Delphine Cousin Questel
2. Marion Mortefon
3. Maelle Guilbaud

Antoine Albeau and Matteo Iachino will join Pierre Mortefon as favourites for the podiums, but there are a lot of sailors working hard to get in among them.

With Sarah Quita not competing in slalom this year and Lena Erdil early in recovery from a broken foot, Delphine is a hot favourite, but Esther De Geus and Lilou Granier may challenge for podiums too.
