While there is still some lockdown - Windsurfing TV have started podcasts.

First one - Josh Angulo interviewed by Maciek Rutkowski.

About 90 minutes long, but I found all of it interesting. Josh opens up about things and Maciek is a good interviewer and makes it about Josh.

PODCAST #2 from Windsurfing TV.

Maciek interviewing Matteo Iachino.

Another 90 minute Show. I think it would help if you were a follower of the PWA Slalom series over the last few years. Matteo was very good at talking about competition and a lot of the psychology of Slalom and competing.
IMO Maciek seemed less lively and a bit distracted compared to his excellent handling of PODCAST #1, but he had included several clips and it may have required the interview to be synced to match to the videos for the final edit. I'm sure it is a lot more complicated to do than it seems - especially doing it from Poland and Tarifa.

The PODCASTs are coming fast! No.3 is Jimmy Diaz - president of the PWA.
Windsurfing since the 1980s. Jimmy has done all the versions of Windsurf Tours and the Olympics.

It's over 2 hours long and has no video inserts, but Jimmy is a great source of knowledge and wisdom. Maciek is as usual, very good at letting the interview flow. If you are interested in the Tour and windsurf history, this is for you. I've found it easy to watch all of them so far.

There is a bunch of Classic windsurf videos newly posted on YouTube.

When I saw Bjorn's sails for PWA wave once, he had 7 of them rigged for a heat - each with a mast cut to length, boom cut to length and fully rigged, so that everything was in exactly the right position on every rig, and as light as possible - with a caddy to switch them during a heat. He also made a duck tack look like the easiest way to turn a board.

Pozo event last year. Interview with Ricardo and Daida.
Daida has become a mum to a baby boy during lock down, so wouldn't have been competing this year. Maybe next year?

A full video of the best windsurf wave riding contest of all time. 2007 Cabo Verde PWA.

I think the music and editing could be improved, but the waves and sailing are superb.
