btw ... can anyone tell me what to put it in the FaceBook field on my profile? I tried the full ULR and it came up with: 'The field “Facebook” has invalid characters' ... but just putting my name as it appears on FB doesn't work either ... ???
Hi Richard - give it another go, I've just changed the field validation method, so should work now.
You can use any format, but I suggest "https://www.facebook.com/user.name" (just copy and paste the url from your browser).

Hi Arf ... I think I've found the problem. The link to my FB page is too long for the field.

My FB url is: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100014757767431
... which does work as a link to my page.

But when I paste it into my forum profile, it cuts off the final 5 digits.

Nope. I can now post the full link but it still doesn't take me to the page.

However, I tried pasting the FB link into the website field and then it worked. There's more space for the website link than the FB one - does that have anything to do with it?

Try it yourself with my FB url:

OK got it.
Post in only the following into the box when editing your profile:
/profile.php?id=100014757767431

That should do it.

Hello Arf. Want to say thanks for sorting this forum. There's been a big void for UK windsurfing since Boards went down. Great work!
