Watch out! This can be addictive..
This was my 3rd but sadly a sprained back in 45 knots just before the Event stopped me racing.
I had high hopes of improving on the lowly 500's from 2018!
Local Pro Nicolas Warrembourg dominated again winning both races.
Countrywoman and World Champion Delphine Cousin beat 72 other femmes for the Ladies Title.
Jimmy Thieme (16-19) finished 8th overall.
His famous and super friendly father Eric was the 1st Pro sailor to race a slalom board in a PBA Longboard race back in the day and won it thus killing the PBA Longboard Division stone dead!
UK household names did well with James Dinsmore 42nd, John Skye 43rd, Ben Profitt 56th and Andy Hart 81st.
This Event is actually easier than it looks!
Fitness and being comfortable on the kit are key. A slalom board and cammed sail are required imho.
See you next year? :D

Andy Laufer's view. Notice the wingfoiler at 6:19?

Highlights video.

Ben Proffitt at the DEFI checking out the range of foils from freeride to race. The only foil I noticed was one with a wing sail, but we may see lots of foils in the Defi in future - they have lots of foils in the Defi Kite.
